Lovely old tall round basket with lid and side handles, hand woven in 70s of seagrass. Time-consuming work, but the result is a beautiful basket in which you can easily store laundry or blankets.
You can also use it for a decorative plant pot :) Due to its age and probably improper storage, it is already slightly tilted to the side, which gives it additional uniqueness. Its inclination is visible only if we look at it with the handles on the side, if we turn it a little, its posture is almost perfect. Of course, it will certainly not fall to the side due to its posture :)
Seagrass already shows light wear, that is why we did some magic with the basket - it got new white shabby chic dress and cute floral ribbon trim and bow. We can still see scuffs, torns but it is a part of lovely timeworn patina underneath the paint. Vintage basket is sturdy, cleaned and ready to enjoy as cute storage & display basket :)
