Stunting antique French dovetailed chalkboard, once upon a time an essential school accessory.
We replaced its blackboard with new layer; this area is not smooth everywhere (as pictured), which makes writing with chalk rather challenging :)
This chalk insert was also extremely thin, so we reinforced it from the back with vintage presswood backing. Wooden frame is just marvelous, very well worn - with countless visible traces of wear and use.
Unique chalkboard would be marvelous and timeless rustic wall display case in any residental or business premises. We will add new sawtooth hangers on your request.
