We are happy to present gorgeous ornate cherub sculptures, hand casted recently. We were guided & inspired by ancient French chateau decor, full of lovely ornate, dimensional baroque style ornaments.
We tried our best to make very distressed shabby chic cherub statues, as if they were very old. We are facing missing parts, broken wing, arrow or a part of a leg, porous surface, ... as we wanted to recreate very old sculptures that have all these characteristics and it looks like we succeeded :)
Sculptures, if they were in in deep vintage condition are attached to old, vintage wooden stands. We recommend placing it at eye level.
Hand painted with homemade paint - it took a lot of time and patience to make it - but it was definitely worth it, as they seem like a fresco in blurred, shabby look. Cherubs are surrounded by antiqued surface. With artificial aging we achieved the desired effect - a new artworks in the style of antique decor with timeworn rustic character. We use material of high quality; works of art are sealed for long durability & protection, but not water resistant. When create these, we strive far from perfection, as we just love their shabby look :)
