Incredible antique finding - extremely rare historical pieces. Available pair of simple, but very stylish candlestick holders, hand crafted by famous manufacturer BMF Berndorf Metalware Factory.
High quality material - pure nickel silver. Both beauties are marked on the top of the base with the hallmark, which was used between 1870 and 1875. An early mark for the BMF Alexander Schoeller items. Mark consists of the two-headed eagle (coat of arms of Austria-Hungary) and the inscription "BMF" (the letters "M" and "F" are joined). Very rare.
Beautiful vintage condition with dark spots, naturally distressed and dark areas, scratches and some oxydizing spots. Beauties are freshly cleaned as we could, polished slightly in order to keep their great timeworn patina. According to long research we can guarantee originality and date of origin in accordance to the hallmark.
