Adorable above door / wall plaques, hand crafted on reclaimed solid wooden base. We were guided & inspired by ancient French chateau decor, full of lovely ornate, dimensional baroque style ornaments.
Max. measures: 27.2 x 5.1" (69 x 13 cm) / thickness without raised ornaments: 0.8" (2 cm).
When making those precious panels, we strived far from perfection, as we wanted to recreate an antique, shabby look.
You will receive randomly selected piece, as they slightly differ in aging, position of ornaments, gilding, but they are very similar at the same time, as they have all very similar pattern.
Panels are hand painted with homemade paint in brown with gold accents. Central cherub is surrounded by antiqued surface with many hand casted clay baroque style ornaments on textured surface with multiple layers of mixed media supplies.
With artificial aging we achieved the desired effect - a new work of art in the style of antique decor with timeworn rustic character. We use material of high quality; work of art is sealed for long durability & protection, but not water resistant. Each one of a kind beauty is ready to enjoy as unique decor, let it rest on your cabinet or on your wall / above a door - as a beautiful plaque with a touch of the past.
