Adorable antique storage suitcase, hand woven of wicker, once upon a time served as travel case. Hinged lid, front wicker handle and galvanized metal latches. Corners are reinforced with wood.
Ext. measures without front handle: 27.2 x 15" (69 x 38 cm) / height including lid app 11" (28 cm).
Handmade in period 1900-20s - very rare and already hard to find item. Its interior has original old yellowish paint, already naturally distressed. We wrapped old beauty into old white color and attached cute handmade fabric embelishment on the top and one small one on the handle :)
Wicker woven shows significant wear, as we may find torns, tiny holes, scuffs, stains. and stuntung grayish timeworn patina. Unfortunately it can not be completely closed any more - as pictured. Inspite of all imperfections it is still ready to become lovely, nostalgic storage / display case, as wedding cards box, handy coffee table, ...
