We are happy to present gorgeous ornate 2 arms candle sconce, upcycled of an stunting ornate antique metal light sconce from 1900s and wooden shutters panel, handcrafted around 50s.
We were guided & inspired by ancient French chateau decor, full of lovely ornate, dimensional baroque style ornaments.
Panel is hand painted with homemade paint - it took a lot of time and patience to make it - but it was definitely worth it!i It is featuring multiple layers surface, full of descreetly raised design in blurred, shabby chic look, hand gilded spots and other charming details.
With artificial aging we achieved the desired effect - a new artwork in the style of antique decor with timeworn rustic character. We use material of high quality; work of art is sealed for long durability & protection, but not water resistant. When created it, we strived far from perfection, as we just love its shabby look :)
Candle sconce has just amazing body; full of lovely details, curves. We intentionally carelessly hand-gilded it, which gave it a wonderful character.
We recommend that you adjust the candle you are going to use a bit at its bottom with a knife so that it can sit on a base that is not flat, please check the picture.
Adorable deep vintage condition with many naturally distressed areas, scratches and wood missing bites. We attached two sawtooth hangers.
