Antique Skeleton Key on Barnwood Plaque w/ Calligraphy Label, Reclaimed Wood Panel, Primitive Industrial Steampunk Decor, Rustic Farmhouse
One of a kind farmhouse wall decor, upcycled of stunting large skeleton keys or other industrial pieces, hand forged of iron in period 1900-20s.
Metal is attached on an antique wooden plaque with wire - which can be used for hanging.
We added handwritten label in gothic calligraphy lettering - also done on an antique book paper page.
Quite rare and already hard to find keys were used for entering wine cellars, for closing large trunk chests, stored with grains and other important food supply.
Metal is in adorable vintage condition with deep rust, stains, scratches.
Wood is already very lightweight due to its age, with wood worms traces, extremely rough and with paint leftovers. All together with great character and timeworn patina!
