Quite large and heavy duty box was hand crafted in period 1900-1920s of solid walnut wood, dovetailed, with original front closing hook.
Stunting and already hard to find box with a drawer and folding mirror. This mirror is just awesome - it is naturally foxed mirror.
We did some magic with it and wrapped it in a layer of homemade paint in white, hand distressed, added vintage metal corner protectors and cute picture on the top.
There is also an incredible original primitive decoupage on back side of the mirror, made of newspaper page, already extremely faded and torn.
In order to prevent sliding of the mirror, special attention must be paid when the mirror is placed in a standing position. It has to be leaned on the box with the carved notch, which is on the bottom of the mirror!

Gorgeous vintage condition with expected wear for its age, there are splits, missing wood bytes, scratches and stains. full of ancient dark spots and is in one piece - not broken! - only the coating on the inner side of the mirror is obviously charming damaged.
