Stunting finding - extremely rare kitchen board. Hand carved in period 1900-20s of one piece of solid wood. Round shape, handled.
Dark and already tired wood with rough surface and countless signs of wear and use - we can find scratches, cutlery traces, splits, tiny holes, wood missing spots, stains and other imperfections. Incredible timeworn patina!
They were used for serving / preparing meals and for puting bread and other dishes in primitive open wood-burning fireplaces, which is why they are greatly thinned in the lower part. Old beauties are well cleaned and treated with layer of wax.
